My favourite products for spot prone skin
We have all been in the situation where we have had spots/acne and absolutely hated it. There's no point in denying it! I have missed countless of days off school on a number of occasions due to my skin being covered in acne. I even got a full fringe at one point in the hope it'd cover my spots up, only this backfired and my skin actually got worse. Make-up didn't help, my hairstyle didn't help and I felt hideous. There was only one other thing I could do, wait it out. I limited my use of make-up and used so many different skin care products. Slowly my spots disappeared and my skin cleared. And now I'm back in the same place, however, I am prepared! I will win this war!
The products shown above are the products I have found to work the best. So, going from left to right we have:
1. St.Ives invigorating Apricot scrub. It is made from 100% natural extracts and it is honestly one of the best facial scrubs I have ever used! I use it every single night whilst in the shower and I don't think I could ever use anything else. My skin is really sensitive as well and this doesn't irritate it at all. Not only that, but it smells amazing and my skin always feels incredibly soft afterwards. I think that's a good enough reason to try it out!
2. No7 Beautiful Skin Foaming Cleanser. The one I have is for normal/oily skin. I absolutely adore this cleanser. I use it every morning to give my face a fresh feel which lasts the whole day. I also have quite oily skin and this really does help. One simple step to perfectly clean, refreshed, shine-free skin. I use this cleanser with the next item on my list.
3. No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush. There are no words to describe this. It is just amazing! The cleansing brush also offers a choice of 2 speeds. If you press the button twice, you'll have a really deep clean. You notice a difference straight away. If you apply the foaming cleanser to your face (above) and then use the cleansing brush, you'll have a really deep clean. I noticed a difference straight away!
4. Pure Pores 15 minute detox face mask. I also use this face mask on a regular basis. It has been inspired by 1950's screen stars timeless beauty icons still famed for their natural flawless skin. It smells good and really does help with spots. It is also a bargain at £5.49. Yay!
5. Finally we have my favourite. Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Pads. I bought these around a week ago. They're just pads and you wipe the pad all over yours spotty areas and walla. It reduces spot size and redness in just 4 hours. I'm not ever lying. My spots have almost disappeared and I owe it all to these babies. I apply it morning and night and I highly recommend them!

ReplyDeleteThank you! If there's anything you think would make a good post then let me know. It's always good to have ideas of posts I can do off the people who will be reading my blog. Those pads are amazing! I have noticed a significant difference in the last week because of those. I don't know why I haven't tried them before! (If you're from the UK then they are on offer in Boots right now) :-)
